Single-Use bioreactors are increasingly favored for the economic advantages they offer. Many mammalian cell based biotech producers are moving to disposable modules, pre-sterilized and qualified according to regulatory requirements. Benefits of single-use bioreactors include faster facility set-up, reduction of down time, simplified validation, and more efficient use of plant floor space. Disposable bioreactors greatly reduce the risk of cross contamination in multi product facilities.

HyClone S.U.B. Systems

Ez-Control is the most economical and advanced choice for your HyClone S.U.B. System

The HyClone S.U.B. is based on a conventional stirred tank approach rather than less characterized designs. The HyClone S.U.B. r is a fully functional bioreactor vessel including single-use contact surfaces for mixing, venting, sparging and temperature sensing. Ports are provided for monitoring, sampling and liquid transfers. The unique mixing system (patent pending) provides overhead mixing while maintaining sterility and integrity. A re-usable outer support container also provides a mixer motor, heating/cooling, control unit for integration with an external control system and a mobile skid.

Appliflex

AppliFlex is the single use bioreactor range designed by Applikon. Manufactured according to the highest quality standards and backed by 35 years of bioreactor and sensor experience, an accurate measurement and control of important parameters is guaranteed. The combination of the bioreactor with sensors and control system offers great opportunities for cGMP applications. The Appliflex bioreactor range consists of a 10-liter, 20-liter and 50-liter bioreactor bag. The bag and sensors (pH, DO, T) are designed for single-use. Optionally a re-usable sensor set can be used. The AppliFlex Rocker is designed in compliance with CE guidelines. It can be applied for a range of reactor volumes. The control system (pH, DO, T, rpm) is formed by the standard Applikon ez-Control.

CellReady 3L Bioreactor Platform

The Cell Ready bioreactor platform comes with 6 bioreactors, which can be used for cell cultures (animal-, insects-, and plant cells). The control system is formed by the standard Applikon ez-Controller. The ez-Control system is configured for a cell culture application, with rotameters and solenoids for Air, O2 and CO2. It can measure and control pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO). Reusable sensors are provided for pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen.
